Welcome back to the Holley legacy! When we last left off, Jorden was trying to win back his ex-wife (who rejected him), and baby Prince was born! (And yes, Jorden did invite over Jayla yet again, guy can’t take a hint)
Don, the unlikely fatherly figure, is always up in the baby’s room taking care of it.
At least someone does, Jorden shows zero interest still and Lana is usually busy working.
Things between the pair are uncomfortable, and Jorden always looks so ‘Meh’ around Lana all the time.
Lilly however got a bright idea when she was writing.
“I’ll invite over that old Dimitri kid Lana had the hots for back when she was a teen!”
Apparently she went as far as to invite him to sleep over…
Jorden: “Who the hell are you?!”
Dimitri: “I’m promised to Lana, and I’ve come back to rekindle our young love!”
Dimitri totally looks like a women to me, not even just the hair, but his face.
Drake: “Ugh, this guy’s STILL here?”
Yes, at least try to be civil, I have something up my sleeve.
Drake: “Anyone who would trust you to make a drink for them is a fool! I don’t even trust you, and I’m a dude!”
The shock on Jordens face, ahh.
Jorden: “What did I ever do to deserve this ill treatment bro?!”
Drake: “The list goes on and on. I know things you don’t even think I’m aware of!”
Lana FINALLY came home from work.
And fixed her negative moodlet that came from her lack of ‘romance’. Technically she’s cheating as well, but we’ll let it slide…
Lana: “I forgot he even existed! He follows me around like a shadow, it’s a bit creepy.”
That’s okay, we’ll just use him to help you forget about Jorden for a while.
The only thing Jorden seems to be good for is gardening, so I set him to work.
Lilly: “So then I invited that long haired boy over, and he was ALL over her! I really hope she forgets this little marriage, it hasn’t even been a year yet.”
Drake: “Yeah, people get divorced all the time honestly.”
Drake: “Ugh.”
Lilly: “Drake, be nice.”
Jorden: “I’m not even going to pretend I care about them talking about me.”
Drake: “Nice to see him take some interest in his child for once.”
Jorden, sensing that things were falling apart between him and Lana, tried his best to make it up to her by being his phony self.
Jorden: “Lana babe, I think you know how much this legacy means to me.”
Lilly literally just walked in and laughed, seemingly at him.
This is definitely not how you wanted your mother in law to look at you.
Drake: “It’s working, the seed I planted in Lana’s head is slowly making her see….”
Shush Drake, they can both probably hear you!
At least one couple in the household was still in love.
Interesting lip pursing, ew.
Then this happened. My game glitched up, and Jorden aged up into an adult, and Prince into a toddler.
He was literally a toddler for a second, but it didn’t let me select any traits for him.
Then he aged into a child. I downloaded an age mod that was supposed to lengthen the lifespans somewhere between normal and long (which is WAAAY too long for me), but clearly it wasn’t patched up to the toddler update 😦
Nevertheless, Prince grew up into a cute kid. He got the Loves the Outdoors trait and the Artistic Prodigy aspiration, just like Lana did when she was a kid.
Lana: “Wow, he actually goes to work?!”
Jorden: “Yes my dearest! Anything for the legacy, like I’ve been telling you!”
Lana’s face REEKS of sarcasm.
Prince: “Grandma, watch me backflip! One, two-”
Watch you don’t land on her head, jesus.
Don and Lilly are literally the cutest Sim grandparents I’ve had (then again, I haven’t played with many…).
And the most vicious. Lilly & Jorden’s relationship is barely even into the red and she still glares at him. Or maybe she’s just upset about whatever that gross looking thing is in her bowl…
I had my secret weapon, Jayla come over once again. Jorden was more than happy to invite her.
Jayla: “Yeah, yeah, yeah – I’m getting some revenge but also helping another women out, it’s a win win for both.”
Jayla: “Jorden, how many times do I have to tell you I’m not interested in you for anything more than getting alimony! Stop hitting on me!”
Lana: “I am DISGUSTED that you would do this to me! In my own house!”
Jayla: “Heh-heh.”
Lana: “Get your crap, and get out of my family’s house! You don’t even deserve to be here!”
Jorden: “But..but… my camera time!”
Lana: “I couldn’t care less about anyone’s camera time right now! Time to make your exit you bottle redhead!”
Jorden: “I literally sacrificed my life for your family’s dumb legacy, and you treat me like this?!”
Lana: “Sacrificed?! I sacrificed most of my young adulthood with you, you dog!”
Jayla: “You know, not trying to be rude, but he did leave me for you at the flip of a dime.. I don’t know why you’re so surprised. Just being the devil’s advocate and all.”
GOOD POINT Jayla – Seems to have just clicked for Lana. With that though, Jorden moved out, and Lana was in a perpetual state of sadness…….
Till Dimitri invited her over!
Lana: “Ugh, why did you accept the invite?”
SHHHH, we need to get you out of your little sad phase quickly.
Lana: “Sadness hotline? Yes, I’ve just been forced to go over to my teenage lover’s place, who I promised to marry years ago, in order to get over my hour old divorce.”
Dimitri’s Dad: “Oh hey pals!”
I can totally see where Dimitri’s awful fashion taste comes from.
Dimitri: “Meet my mom!”
Awkward.
Lana: “You trying to tell me their apartment has one double bed and a crib? You really pick them well.”
She doesn’t look so unhappy now.
Lana: “Yeah, because his face is half covered by his glasses! Are you really that lazy that you won’t find me a totally new dude?!”
Currently, yes I am.
Go Drake, it’s your birthday, go Drake!
Drake: “Hmph.”
Wow you look exactly the same… He rolled the Active trait, and his LTW is the bodybuilder one.
Jorden, showcasing his great parenting skills, invites Prince, who is a child, out to a club with him. WOW
And this is where I’ll leave off, with Lana pouting as usual. Will I bother to find Lana a TOTALLY new beau like she requested? Who will be the father of the spare? Will Drake do something with his life, or continue to basically BE the peanut gallery?!
